About:
This course will familiarize the student with the plumbing of an irrigation system, and more specifically, the process of finding and repairing leaks.
This offering will feature techniques to restore system performance and promote proper water management.
Chapter 1 and 2
The first segment provides an outline of the course, course objectives and how to navigate the course.
The second part highlights the importance of safety on the job.
Chapter 3
In this two part chapter, the behavior of water in piping systems is discussed.
Chapter 4
In this three part chapter, the control points and plumbing of an irrigation system is explained.
Chapter 5
In this four part chapter, it`s shown how to identify the problem and how to isolate and pinpoint the cause of the problem.
Chapter 6
Topics in this three part chapter include:
The right tools, working with PVC pipe and how to service a solenoid valve.
7-Course Review
At the end of the course will be a review followed by the final exam.
